Stewardship Rooted in Experience and Purpose
Nacani is led by experienced stewards committed to building institutions that reflect integrity, continuity, and long-term responsibility. Our leadership approach is grounded in service, collaboration, and a deep respect for community, culture, and generational impact.
Monica Davy
Monica H. Davy is a nationally respected leader with decades of experience spanning law, government, healthcare, and organizational leadership. Her career has been defined by a commitment to building institutions that reflect integrity, equity, and long-term impact.
Over the course of her professional journey, Monica has served in senior leadership roles across the public and private sectors, including twenty-six years in federal government service and subsequent executive leadership within complex healthcare organizations. Her work has consistently focused on culture, belonging, and systems-level change—aligning mission, values, and accountability at scale.
Nacani was founded as an extension of Monica’s belief that legacy is an active responsibility. Through Nacani, she brings together enterprise, philanthropy, and cultural preservation under a single stewardship framework designed to endure across generations. Her leadership emphasizes thoughtful ownership, place-based investment, and the protection of cultural and community assets for the benefit of those who come next.
Monica’s role as Founder and Steward reflects a long-view approach to leadership—one rooted in care for people and place, and in the conviction that what we build should outlast us, strengthen communities, and create pathways for future generations to thrive.
Co-FounderFred Davy
Fred Davy is a lifelong educator, innovator, and community advocate with more than three decades of experience in public education and STEM engagement. Throughout his career, he has focused on expanding access to opportunity, particularly for students and communities historically underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
As Co-Founder of Nacani, Fred brings a practitioner’s mindset rooted in education, problem-solving, and hands-on leadership. His work emphasizes the importance of exposure, mentorship, and systems that enable young people to imagine and pursue futures beyond what they see around them.
Fred’s leadership reflects Nacani’s belief that legacy is built not only through assets, but through people—by investing in knowledge, curiosity, and pathways that endure.

Nacani is establishing a Board of Directors to provide governance, strategic guidance, and fiduciary oversight across its philanthropic and mission-aligned initiatives.
The Board will be composed of leaders with expertise across community development, cultural preservation, education, finance, and public service—individuals who share a commitment to stewardship, accountability, and generational impact.
While the Board is not yet formally seated, its structure and role reflect Nacani’s dedication to responsible governance and thoughtful growth. Board appointments will be announced as the organization continues to build its foundation and expand its work.
